A Safe Lehi is a Strong Lehi

Public safety is a core responsibility of local government. I’m committed to making sure Lehi remains a place where families feel safe and protected.

  • Fire Department

Firefighters and paramedics are essential to the safety, resilience, and wellbeing of Lehi. They are the first to respond in moments of crisis and they do so with skill, speed, and selflessness. As our city continues to grow, we must ensure our emergency services have the resources, training, and staffing they need to protect every resident. I fully support our firefighters and paramedics and believe we must prioritize their departments needs to keep up with the demands of our growing population.

  • Police Department

Our police officers play a critical role in keeping Lehi safe, secure, and strong. They are on the front lines every day, protecting our neighborhoods, responding to emergencies, and building trust within the community. As our city grows, so does the need for a well-supported and well-staffed police force. I support our law enforcement officers and believe in providing them with the resources, training, and tools they need to serve effectively and safely. Recently, the Lehi City Council increased funding for 3 additional officers. I support this increase.

Phragmities Infestation

The phragmites infestation in Jordan Willows and throughout Lehi’s wetlands are a public safety hazard. I support the City Council’s recent decision to fund a mitigation machine to address the overgrowth and to improve our mitigation plans. It is essential to do everything we can to mitigate the fire risk that the phragmites pose to our neighborhoods and natural habitats.
