Strengthening Families
Strong families are the foundation of strong communities. When families thrive, so do our schools, neighborhoods, and local economy. Local government plays a vital role in supporting families by ensuring safe neighborhoods, investing in parks and recreation, and supporting policies and programs that provide benefits to the community. As your council member, I will prioritize decisions that strengthen families because when we support families, we build a more resilient Lehi for generations to come.
Rippy Literacy Center
It is with strengthening families in mind that I strongly support the mission of the Rippy Literacy Center in Lehi. The Rippy Literacy Center provides an essential resource to our citizens in preparing children for kindergarten by teaching them the foundations of reading. They also provide essential tutoring services for children in our community. I look forward to seeing the Rippy Literacy Center’s extension in west Lehi in the Holbrook Farms neighborhood.
The Curtis Center
The partnership between Lehi City and the Curtis Center is one that I wholeheartedly support. The Curtis Center provides essential services for families with children that have special needs. I support their efforts and hope to see their programs grow to accommodate more Lehi families in the years to come.
