It’s time to get Lehi moving.

Traffic & Infrastructure Solutions

Every Lehi resident feels the pains of our failing infrastructure and road systems - especially at peak hours. Our city sits at the center point of the two largest counties in the State therefore we have tens of thousands of trips per day from our residents and from the residents of the surrounding cities. Lehi can’t wait for the State or another city to solve this problem for us. We need to solve this problem now.

Regional Leadership

Our traffic and infrastructure issues are felt across the region. As the surrounding cities continually put pressure on Lehi’s elected officials to add more east/west connections and to expand the existing ones, it is essential that we protect the continuity of Lehi and protect it from becoming a pass through city. I believe we can increase road capacities while still preserving what makes Lehi special. I will bring our leaders from across the region together to solve these issues together.

Connections & Improvements

  • Pony Express Parkway: I support the connection of Pony Express Parkway to the Vineyard connector and I-15 to create another East/West connection to serve Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs residents. This road will alleviate the congestion on Pioneer Crossing and other surrounding roads.

  • Pioneer Crossing: I support adding flex lanes on Pioneer Crossing to increase capacity during peak hours. This will have the least amount of impact to the surrounding properties and will also decrease East/West travel time. However, I do not support expanding Pioneer Crossing out into a freeway. This would be catastrophic to the surrounding Lehi residents and business owners not to mention, it would limit our ability to implement better solutions for the region down the road.

  • 2100 North Freeway: I support the full build out of 2100 North into a freeway. This will significantly improve the traffic patterns of the surrounding areas and increase connectivity across the region. As a resident of Holbrook Farms, I am greatly concerned about the connection of Clubhouse Drive into 3600 West and will prioritize the larger projects before considering the feasibility of that one.

  • Mountain View Corridor & Point of the Mtn Connector: I support the full build out of Mountain View Corridor as the development would greatly improve the infrastructure of the west side of Utah and Salt Lake Counties. I also support a Point of the Mountain Connector from I-15 to Mountain View Corridor north of Lehi. This connection would keep traffic out of Lehi and would greatly increase connectivity between the Utah and Salt Lake county.

Public Transit

Recently, Lehi has adopted several Station Area Plans for TRAX systems that will connect Salt Lake County to the east side of Lehi. These TRAX lines will eventually make their way down to Provo. I will work closely with UDOT, UTA, and the surrounding property owners to ensure those developments are designed with the best interest of Lehi residents and businesses in mind.

Smart, connected infrastructure doesn’t just move traffic — it moves communities forward. I’ll work to make sure our transportation decisions are grounded in real data, long-term vision, and a commitment to keeping Lehi a safe, efficient, and family-friendly place to live. And above all, I’ll make sure we’re building infrastructure that works not only for us today, but for our children and grandchildren when they come of age.
